Vegas Trip
So I made the pilgrimage to Vegas recently. Now there's a place that has seen alot of change. I never thought he day would come where you couldn't find a Prime Rib buffet for 5.95 on the strip. It's here. 90% of the strip is owned by three companies. Harrahs has the whole block across from Cesars and Cesars.
Poker tournaments are now a dime a dozen out there. 99% of them are No Limit Hold'em.
Cesar's has a nice daily tournament. $80.00 buy-in with one $50.00 add-on. The rounds are 40 min each. It's a long one, but it gives you a chance to relax and play w/o the blinds chomping away at you constantly.
The weekend action is good. Cash games are full of regulars during the weekdays. Some evenings the Imperial Palace manages to put together a $100.00 max/min buy-in no limit hold'em game. It's a great fishing pond.
